Check ordering before sharing
Interleaving assumes that page stacks align with the intended alternating sequence. Different scanner feed directions can reverse a stack, so inspect several pages in PDF Reader after export. If the result is wrong, reorder or rotate the copy rather than editing the source scans.
Layout changes have consequences
N-Up and contact-sheet outputs are visual arrangements, not a replacement for the full-size original. Fine text may be harder to read and interactive document features may not survive a page rewrite. Keep the source PDF when accessibility, high-resolution inspection or signatures matter.

Does N-Up change the original document?
